Elevate your practice safely and play with postures to further enhance your physical and mental strength. This workshop will give you space to work on advanced transitions and ample time to explore and play with advanced postures and offerings such as inversions, arm balances, back bends and binds. Advanced asana is a great, and fun way, to promote cellular and physical growth while also getting to know yourself better and connecting mind, body and breath. It promotes presence, attention, strength and body awareness.
Target students: Students looking to expand their practice with more advanced poses and transitions in a safe environment and build the confidence to weave these poses in an all level vinyasa class. This workshop requires at least 6-12 months experience practicing yoga.
Class will tackle: a variety of back bends, arm balances, hip flexibility and inversions
Warm up with a flow consisting of advanced flow transitions - flow will be themed based on asanas we are going to tackle.
Drills related to theme/pose
Practice time for students to work on poses based on their skill level with guidance from the teacher.
