Equity Scholarship

West Side Yoga is offering one FULL scholarship opportunity for our 2026 teacher training in hopes of creating better representation of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) individuals in our studio. Providence is a richly diverse place to live, and we want to practice in spaces that are just as culturally beautiful and inclusive as our shared city. We believe representation matters for the indigenous practice of yoga, and we want to continue to honor it by welcoming and supporting BIPOC identifying individuals in our teacher training. This is just one way for us to continue to create more equity in the accessibility of yoga to members of our community.

Any member of our BIPOC community who is ready to be immersed in a yoga teacher training is welcome to apply. Please note that applicants must have an active yoga practice (at home or in studio).

The scholarship will be awarded randomly from the pool of applicants.

Application Deadline: 4/1/2026
