Yoga Teacher Mentorship Program

The Program

The WSY Mentorship Program is designed to support certified 200HR yoga teachers as they build confidence, clarity, and strength in their teaching. Over the course of six months, you will be paired with a seasoned WSY instructor (either 500HR certified or 200HR certified with a minimum of five years of teaching experience) who will offer personalized guidance, direct feedback, and ongoing support.

This immersive mentorship experience is designed to help you refine your teaching skills, deepen your presence as a teacher, and prepare you to confidently lead classes.

The mentorship is a 35HR accredited continuing education program through Yoga Alliance.

Six-month program
Teacher is paired with participating mentor
Assist eight of your mentor’s classes
Connect with your mentor during three 1-hour (or six 30-min) conversations
Attend four YTT modules of your choosing (~2 hours each). Must include two Posture or Hands-On-Assist Labs and two lecture topics (Anatomy or Yoga Philosophy)
Participate in two teaching labs with other mentees hosted by Corey and/or Emily. Teaching labs will be held monthly and feedback will be provided during the session
Participate in one workshop hosted by a mentor. These will be open to the public and held on Saturday or Sunday afternoon/evenings
Teach two community classes during your program. Your mentor will take class and provide feedback
Complete reading and sequencing assignments suggested by your mentor
