Danielle

@danivoight

Danielle (300HR RYT, 50HR Yoga Sculpt, she/her) found her yoga practice, as so many do, during a very difficult time in her life. She immediately felt a transformation, not just within, but all around. As she became more compassionate with her body and mind, she became more compassionate to those around her. The shift was tangible, life became more fun, and she knew this was a practice she wanted to share with others. In 2012, Danielle traveled to Puskar, India, where she received her 200HR RYS certification at Shiva Shakti Yoga Shala. After teaching for several years, she returned to India, this time traveling to Sampoorna Yoga School in Goa, for a 100HR training in meditation and Ayurveda. In 2019, she received certification in Yoga Sculpt from CorePower Yoga in Boston.

Danielle’s vinyasa classes are challenging, creatively sequenced, and often taught with a peak pose at the end. She is encouraging and playful with her students, is known for singing along in her yoga sculpt classes, and loves telling stories about the Hindu deities in her vinyasa classes. Her meditation teacher instilled in her that “Joy is our true nature” and Danielle provides the space for her students to go within, find their true nature, and leave feeling joyful.

Maria

Maria (200HR RYT, she/her) brings the traditions of alignment-based yoga to the mat with inclusive, accessible cues and vinyasa recognized flow. She believes in cultivating safe environments for all walks of life that may grow into a larger, comprehensive community.

Her journey began circa 2013, when she leaned into a meditation practice. It took 3 more years for her to find a physical yoga practice, which was just at home with YouTube videos. She then felt inspired to become a teacher, and jumped right into a 200 HR training. Since then, Maria’s practice has excelled both physically and spiritually. She is more than thrilled about her career as a teacher, as it is a direct reflection of her close relationship to this discipline.

She sequences her classes based off of her home practice, where she lets her body move intuitively while still implementing her respect of traditional teachings. Maria believes in the power of a well-rounded Yoga practice, and the transformation into a peaceful life through discipline and honor of these ancient teachings.

Other than Yoga, Maria enjoys various art forms such as writing and recording music, singing, painting, and immersing herself into nature. She is an advocate for connecting with your Higher Self through creative expression and being around Mother Nature.

Michael

@michaelaubinyoga

Yoga has opened Michael (200HR RYT, Level 1 Journey to Power, he/him) up to the possibility of what it means to move through life with a sense of purpose and ease. In 2015 he was introduced to yoga after suffering tightness from years of long distance running. He instantly fell in love with the practice. As a teacher he thrives to create meaningful impact in other people's lives. Yoga has helped Michael find his true passion in life, helping people and building community.

Michael teaches an alignment based power flow with the intention to create mind/body awareness and steady progression with each class. In practice, expect to sweat, twist and hold postures to build physical strength and mental fortitude to empower you on and off the mat. Michael's goal as a teacher is to facilitate a powerful experience in every class. Students will leave with a little extra “something” and even if you don’t have the language for what that “something” is at that moment, give it time and we promise you will have your “Aha!” moment.

@nikko_1685

Naturally drawn to dynamic body movement, Nick's (200HR CYT, he/him) journey with yoga started as an at home curiosity online in 2019. By the end of lockdown, his curiosity quickly grew into a dedicated studio practice. By 2022, his practice became a passion and the calling to become a teacher led him to his 200HR training. Nick's classes focus on total body physical experience. This comes from his love of dynamic body weight training in the gym. Yoga asana delivers an added aspect of connecting the body and the mind. The challenge of yoga poses with the philosophy and history give deeper meaning to breaking a sweat.
